To prepare the graham cracker crust, crush 1 package of graham crackers until fine. In a bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers with 1/2 stick of melted butter and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Mix these ingredients thoroughly until well combined. Press this mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of a clear rectangular baking dish.

To prepare the cream cheese mixture, in a separate mixing bowl, combine 1 (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 (8 ounce) package of softened cream cheese, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix these ingredients until the mixture is smooth and well combined. Gently fold in 1 (8 ounce) container of thawed Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream) until it is fully incorporated.

Evenly spread the prepared cream cheese mixture over the graham cracker crust in the baking dish.

To prepare the strawberry Jell-O, in another bowl, dissolve 1 (3 ounce) package of strawberry Jell-O in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir continuously until the Jell-O powder is completely dissolved. Then, add 1/2 cup of cold water and mix it in.

Arrange the 1 pound of sliced fresh strawberries neatly over the cream cheese layer in the baking dish.

Carefully pour the prepared strawberry Jell-O mixture over the arranged strawberries, ensuring they are mostly covered.

Place the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until it is completely set and firm.

Once chilled and set, the Strawberry Delight is ready to be served.
