Peel the pisang emas (small bananas).

Cut the peeled bananas into approximately 1-inch thick round pieces. Place the banana pieces into a large mixing bowl.

In a separate medium bowl, combine the coconut milk and water.

Add the salt, granulated sugar, and sago pearls to the coconut milk mixture.
