Take one slice of sandwich bread and spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter evenly on one side.

Place the buttered side of the bread down into a large skillet or griddle, heated over medium-low heat.

Immediately begin layering the sandwich: place 1 slice of Sargento® Ultra Thin® Slices cheese on top of the bread in the pan.

Add 2 slices of deli ham over the cheese.

Add another slice of Sargento® Ultra Thin® Slices cheese on top of the ham.

Arrange 2-3 slices of tomato (depending on size) over this layer of cheese.

Add a final slice of Sargento® Ultra Thin® Slices cheese on top of the tomato.

Take a second slice of bread and spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter evenly on one side.

Place this second slice of bread on top of the assembled sandwich, with the buttered side facing upwards.

Cook the sandwich in the pan for 3-5 minutes, or until the bottom slice of bread is golden brown and toasted.

Carefully flip the sandwich over to cook the second side. Continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes, or until the second side is golden brown and the cheese inside is thoroughly melted and gooey.

Remove the cooked grilled cheese sandwich from the pan. Repeat steps 1-11 for the remaining 3 sandwiches.

Cut each sandwich in half diagonally.

Serve warm and enjoy the comfort!
