Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a donut pan (a 6-cavity pan is ideal) with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk them together until well combined.

In a separate measuring cup, combine the plant milk, oil, and vanilla extract.

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Using a spatula, gently mix the batter until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can lead to tough donuts.

Spoon the donut batter evenly into each cavity of the prepared donut pan, filling each about two-thirds full.

Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the donuts from the oven and transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. This will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

While the donuts are cooling, prepare the ganache. In a heatproof bowl, combine the chocolate chips and plant milk. Heat in a microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, or over a double boiler until the chocolate is melted. Stir the mixture until a smooth ganache is formed.
Place the chopped hazelnuts in a shallow dish.

Once the donuts are completely cool, dip each donut first into the chocolate ganache, ensuring it's fully coated.

Immediately after dipping in ganache, dip the donut into the chopped hazelnuts, pressing gently to adhere the nuts to the chocolate coating.

Place the coated donuts back on the wire rack or a serving plate. Serve and enjoy!
