Lay out two slices of bread per sandwich. For each sandwich, spread regular butter evenly on one side of one slice of bread.

On the second slice of bread for each sandwich, spread garlic butter evenly on one side.

Take the garlic-buttered slice of bread and pile 1/4 of the grated mozzarella cheese onto the unbuttered side.

Add 1/4 of the grated cheddar cheese on top of the mozzarella layer.

Place 1/4 of the cooked, thinly sliced steak on top of the cheese layers.

Arrange 1/4 of the cooked fries on top of the steak.

Place the plain buttered slice of bread on top of the assembled ingredients, with the buttered side facing up, to complete the sandwich.

Spread garlic butter evenly on the outside of the top slice of the assembled sandwich.

Heat a large non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Carefully place the sandwich into the hot pan, garlic-buttered side down. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Flip the sandwich and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes, or until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is completely melted and gooey.

Repeat steps 1-10 for the remaining sandwiches. Once cooked, remove from the pan and let rest for a minute. Slice each sandwich in half diagonally before serving immediately.
