In each of four sturdy highball glasses, place 15 mint leaves, 2 lime wedges, and 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar.

Gently muddle the ingredients in each glass. The goal is to release the oils from the mint and the juice from the lime, dissolving the sugar, without tearing the mint leaves too much.

Add 2 fluid ounces of white rum to each glass.

Fill each glass with ice cubes.

Top each glass with chilled club soda, about 1/4 to 1/3 cup per glass, or as desired.

Stir gently with a bar spoon to combine the ingredients.

Garnish each Mojito with a fresh lime wheel and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately.
