Preheat your oven to 375°F.

Wash and rinse the broccoli florets. While they are still wet, spread them evenly in a baking dish.

Spray the broccoli generously with olive oil.

Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Add a generous layer of grated Parmesan cheese over the seasoned broccoli. You want it to look like it snowed!

Sprinkle a generous layer of Italian-style breadcrumbs over the Parmesan cheese.

Spray the top with additional olive oil until the breadcrumbs are lightly moistened. This helps them become golden and crispy.

DO NOT MIX! Keep all those delicious layers right on top.

Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.

Remove the foil and bake uncovered for another 30 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender and the topping is as golden and crispy as you like.
