In a large mixing bowl, scoop in the entire container of marshmallow fluff alongside the thawed Cool Whip.

Gently blend the marshmallow fluff and Cool Whip together using a spatula. Fold and stir until the mixture is super smooth and totally combined. A hand mixer on the lowest setting can also be used, but caution is advised to avoid overmixing.

Once the base mixture is smooth, gently fold in the crushed candies with the spatula. Mix just until they are nicely and evenly distributed, without beating the mixture.

Line a small tray (such as an 8x8 pan or a loaf pan) with parchment paper, or use silicone molds. Pour the mixture into the prepared tray or molds and spread it evenly. If the intention is to make candy balls, they can be shaped at this point or after chilling.

Cover the tray or molds with plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill. For quicker results, stick it in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes until it becomes firm enough to handle or slice. Chilling is crucial for achieving the desired candy consistency.

Once the mixture is firm, if a tray was used, lift the mixture out using the parchment paper and cut it into small squares or rectangles. If making candy balls, roll the firm mixture into 1-inch balls using clean hands or a small cookie scoop.

Arrange the finished candies on a serving platter. Keep them chilled in the refrigerator until it's time to enjoy.
