Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a baking dish that is appropriately sized to hold the cinnamon rolls without overcrowding.

Open the can of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and arrange them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish, leaving a small space between each roll as they will expand.

Evenly pour the 1/2 cup of heavy cream over the arranged cinnamon rolls in the baking dish. Ensure each roll gets some cream.

In a separate medium-sized bowl, combine the 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk these ingredients together thoroughly until they are well combined and form a smooth, caramel-like mixture.

Carefully pour the brown sugar mixture over the cinnamon rolls in the baking dish, ensuring they are well coated. Gently spread the mixture if needed to cover the tops of the rolls.

If using, sprinkle the 1/2 cup of chopped pecans evenly over the top of the coated cinnamon rolls.

Place the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through. The topping should be bubbly and slightly caramelized.

Once baked, remove the cinnamon rolls from the oven. While still warm, open the included icing package and drizzle the icing generously over the top of the rolls. Serve immediately and enjoy!
