Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, Italian seasoning, red chili flakes, chili powder, and 1/4 cup of grated fresh Parmesan cheese. Mix well to form a thick paste.

Take the loaf of French bread and brush the prepared herb oil paste generously onto the outside crust of the bread. Sprinkle a little more Parmesan cheese on top of the paste.

Place the prepared French bread on the lined baking sheet. Toast in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and slightly crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside.

Carefully cut the toasted French bread lengthwise, creating a top and bottom half. Place the bottom half on the baking sheet.

Layer the shaved turkey evenly over the bottom half of the bread. Arrange the slices of Pepper Jack cheese on top of the turkey.

Return the bread with turkey and cheese to the oven for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Once the cheese is melted, remove the bread from the oven. Drizzle the melted cheese and turkey with the sub oil.

Evenly layer the sliced seasoned tomatoes, shredded Romaine lettuce, and sliced red onions over the sub oil.

Top with the cooked bacon strips and sliced banana peppers. Drizzle generously with ranch dressing.

Place the top half of the French bread onto the assembled ingredients. Gently press down.

Cut the sandwich into four equal portions and serve immediately.
