Bring 2 to 3 cups of water per serving to a rolling boil in a medium saucepan. Add the Buldak ramen noodles and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, or until tender. Reserve about 1 cup of the hot noodle water per serving before draining the noodles.

While the noodles are cooking, in a large bowl, whisk together 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of Kewpie mayo, and the Buldak seasoning packet (from the ramen pack) until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Slowly add about 1 cup of the reserved hot noodle water into the egg and mayo mixture, stirring constantly to create a silky, creamy broth. If using, stir in 1 tablespoon of heavy cream for extra richness. Adjust the amount of water little by little to achieve your desired consistency.

Add the cooked and drained noodles to the creamy broth mixture. Mix well until all the noodles are thoroughly coated with the sauce.

Divide the creamy Buldak ramen among serving bowls. Garnish generously with finely chopped green onions and a drizzle of chili oil. If desired, top with crispy bacon.
