Prepare the chicken by slicing 2 chicken breasts horizontally in half to create 4 thinner cutlets.

Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning.

Heat 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the seasoned chicken cutlets into the hot skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

In the same skillet, add 1 finely diced shallot and sauté until it has softened.

Incorporate 6 minced garlic cloves into the skillet and cook until the garlic becomes fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

Pour 1 cup of chicken broth into the skillet, making sure to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan to deglaze it.

Add 1/2 block of Garlic & Fine Herbs Boursin cheese, 1/4 cup of heavy cream, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon crushed peppercorns or black pepper to the skillet.

Allow the sauce to cook over medium heat for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to a consistency that can coat the back of a spoon.

Return the seared chicken to the skillet, nestling it into the creamy sauce. Spoon the sauce over the chicken to coat it.

Garnish the dish with fresh parsley before serving.
