In a large pitcher or gallon container, combine the cream of coconut, fresh lime juice, granulated sugar, and 1 cup of water. Whisk vigorously until the sugar is fully dissolved and the mixture is well combined and smooth. This may take a few minutes.

Add the remaining 2 cups of water to the mixture and stir well. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if desired; you can add a little more sugar or lime juice to your preference.

Cover the pitcher or container and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and for the limeade to chill thoroughly. This also helps any remaining sugar to fully dissolve.

When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice. Pour the chilled Tropical Coconut Limeade over the ice. Garnish each glass with a fresh lime slice and a sprinkle of toasted coconut flakes, if desired.
