Prepare the bread: Take 6 slices of bread. You can optionally cut off the crusts if preferred, or leave them on for a chewier texture.

Assemble the Nutella sandwiches: Spread 3 to 5 tablespoons of Nutella evenly over three of the bread slices. Place the remaining three bread slices on top to form three Nutella sandwiches.

Cut into sticks: Carefully slice each Nutella sandwich into three equal batons (sticks).

Prepare the egg mixture: In a shallow bowl, whisk together the 2 large eggs, 60ml milk, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined.

Dip the French toast sticks: Dip each bread baton into the egg mixture. Allow any excess liquid to drip off; do not over-soak the bread.

Cook the French toast sticks: Melt a knob of butter in a large non-stick pan over low heat. Place the dipped batons in the pan, ensuring not to overcrowd it. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use tongs or two forks to carefully flip them.

Prepare the cinnamon sugar: In a separate shallow bowl, mix together the 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon until thoroughly combined.

Coat with cinnamon sugar: Once the French toast sticks are cooked and golden, immediately transfer them to the cinnamon sugar mixture. Roll each stick to coat evenly on all sides.

Serve: Serve the Nutella Stuffed French Toast Sticks warm. They are delicious on their own or with a side of maple syrup, extra Nutella, or fresh berries.
