Preheat your oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a donut mold.

In a large bowl, combine the softened butter and granulated sugar. Mix with an electric mixer or whisk until the mixture is light and creamy.

Add the egg to the creamy butter and sugar mixture. Mix again until the egg is fully incorporated and the batter is smooth.

Gradually add the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and milk to the bowl. Mix on low speed or by hand until all ingredients are just combined and form a smooth batter. Be careful not to overmix.

Carefully fill each cavity of the prepared donut mold with the batter, filling them about two-thirds full.

Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove the donuts from the oven and let them cool in the mold for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. This step is crucial for the chocolate coating.

While the donuts are cooling, melt the milk chocolate. You can do this in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, or over a double boiler until smooth.

Once the donuts are completely cool, dip each donut into the melted milk chocolate, ensuring it is evenly coated. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.

Immediately after dipping, sprinkle chopped hazelnuts generously over the chocolate-dipped donuts before the chocolate sets.

Finally, place a Ferrero Rocher chocolate on top of each donut while the chocolate is still wet to help it adhere. Let the chocolate set completely before serving.
