Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place the block of feta cheese in the center of an 11 x 6 1/2 inch baking dish.

Arrange the sliced figs around the cheese and scatter the roughly chopped pistachios evenly over the top of both the feta and the figs.

Generously drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the entire dish, followed by a drizzle of honey.

Sprinkle the dried oregano over the ingredients in the baking dish.

Bake for about 35 minutes, or until the figs are soft and caramelized, the pistachios are lightly toasted, and the feta is warm and slightly golden around the edges.

Serve warm, straight from the dish, with plenty of warm, crusty bread for dipping.
