In a large bowl, combine the 1 cup warm milk, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 1 teaspoon yeast. Stir well until the yeast is dissolved.

Add the 2 cups all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon salt to the milk mixture. Mix until the ingredients are just combined and a shaggy dough forms.
Add the 1 tablespoon oil to the dough. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with plastic wrap or a clean kitchen towel, and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.

While the dough is rising, cook the 6 sausages according to package directions. Once cooked, let them cool slightly, then cut them into small, bite-sized pieces.

Grate the 300 grams of mozzarella cheese if not already grated.

Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out into a large rectangular shape, approximately 12x18 inches.

Evenly spread the cut sausage pieces over the rolled-out dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Evenly spread the grated mozzarella cheese over the sausage pieces.

Starting from one of the longer sides, tightly roll the dough into a log shape.

Using a sharp knife, cut the log into 6 individual pieces, each approximately 2-3 inches thick.

Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place each dough piece into the prepared dish, leaving some space between them.

Using a knife, make a lengthwise cut down the center of each piece, ensuring not to cut all the way through to the bottom.

Gently open up each cut piece to form a "boat" shape, carefully exposing the filling.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, whisk together the 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon milk to create an egg wash.

Brush the tops and sides of the bread boats with the egg wash.

Bake the bread boats in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Once baked, remove the bread boats from the oven. Immediately brush the hot bread boats with the 1 tablespoon of melted butter.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
