Gather all your ingredients and a small serving bowl for each person.

Into each small bowl, add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic.

Add a small handful (about 1 tablespoon) of chopped cilantro to each bowl.

Using chopsticks or a small spoon, stir all the ingredients together thoroughly in each bowl until well combined and the sauce has a uniform consistency. Serve immediately with your favorite hotpot.
