Preheat your oven to 400°F. Place the 1/2 stick of butter into an 8x8 inch glass baking dish and put it into the preheating oven to melt while you prepare the dough.

In a large bowl, add 2 cups of Original Bisquick Pancake & Baking Mix.

Measure out 1/2 cup of sour cream and 1/2 cup of Sprite. Pour both the sour cream and Sprite into the bowl with the Bisquick.

Mix the ingredients by hand until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add more Bisquick, a tablespoon at a time, until it's easier to handle. A spatula may also be used for mixing.

Sprinkle some additional Bisquick onto a clean counter surface. Transfer the dough to the floured surface and briefly knead it until it's no longer sticky and forms a cohesive mass. Shape the dough into a flat disc, about 1 inch thick.

Using a knife, cut the dough disc into four equal pieces. Gently shape each piece into a round biscuit.

Carefully remove the baking dish with the melted butter from the oven using an oven mitt. Dip each shaped biscuit into the melted butter, ensuring it is thoroughly coated on all sides.

Place the butter-coated biscuits back into the 8x8 inch baking dish. Return the dish to the 400°F oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffed up.

Once baked, remove the biscuits from the oven. Serve warm, perhaps with gravy for dipping.
