Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).

In a large metal bowl, combine the chicken wings, vegetable oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss thoroughly with gloved hands to ensure all wings are evenly coated.

Carefully place the seasoned chicken wings directly onto the preheated grill grates. Close the grill lid.

Grill the wings for 20-25 minutes, flipping them every 5-7 minutes to ensure even cooking and charring on all sides, until they are browned, crispy, and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F).

While the wings are grilling, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted and bubbling, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally, and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened and well combined.

Once the chicken wings are cooked, remove them from the grill and place them back into the large metal bowl.

Pour the prepared sticky honey garlic butter sauce directly over the hot grilled chicken wings in the bowl. Toss the wings thoroughly to coat them completely with the sauce.

Transfer the sauced chicken wings to a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining sauce from the bowl over the plated wings before serving.
