Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the apples: Using an apple corer or a small knife, carefully remove the core from each apple, leaving the bottom intact. Ensure the hole is wide enough to fit a piece of chocolate.

Insert one piece of Kinder Milk chocolate into the core of each apple.

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, ground cinnamon, and granulated sugar. Mix well.

Brush the outside of each apple with the cinnamon-sugar butter mixture.

Unroll the puff pastry sheet. Cut the pastry into four equal squares. If your sheet is rectangular, you may need to trim and reshape slightly to get four squares large enough to wrap an apple.

Place one prepared apple in the center of each puff pastry square. Bring the corners of the pastry up over the apple and pinch the seams together to seal, encasing the apple completely. You can trim any excess pastry if desired, or create decorative cutouts to place on top.

Place the wrapped apple dumplings seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops and sides of the pastry with the beaten egg wash for a golden finish.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the apples are tender when pierced with a knife.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Be careful as the chocolate inside will be hot.
