Prepare the aromatics and vegetables: Dice the whole white onion, slice the 10-15 cloves of garlic, and dice the large tomato.

Heat cooking oil in a large pan or pot over medium heat. Add the sliced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Then, add the diced white onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 3-5 minutes.

Incorporate the diced large tomato into the pan and continue to sauté until it begins to soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the 2-3 teaspoons of tomato paste and mix thoroughly with the sautéed aromatics for about 1 minute.

Add the 2 kg of ground beef to the pan. Break up the meat with a spoon or spatula as it cooks until browned, about 8-10 minutes.

Pour in the 1/3 cup of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce. Mix well to combine with the ground beef and other ingredients.

Prepare the remaining vegetables: Dice the large potato, large carrot, and 1-2 bell peppers.

Add the diced potato, carrot, and bell peppers to the pan with the ground meat mixture. Then, add the 1/2 cup of green peas and 1/2 cup of raisins.

Mix all the ingredients in the pan until well combined. Season with 1 tablespoon of Spanish paprika, salt to taste, and pepper to taste. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender and the flavors have melded, about 10-15 minutes.

While the meat mixture is simmering, prepare the saba bananas: Peel and slice each banana lengthwise in half.

Heat cooking oil in a separate pan over medium heat. Fry the sliced saba bananas until they are golden brown and slightly caramelized on both sides. Remove from the pan and place on a rack or paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

In the same pan or a different one, fry the 2 eggs sunny side up to your desired doneness.

To serve, place a heaping serving of white rice on a plate. Next to the rice, add a generous portion of the prepared Arroz a la Cubana ground meat mixture. Arrange the fried saba banana halves and the 2 sunny-side up eggs on the plate.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
