Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.

In a medium-sized bowl, combine the can of cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, chicken gravy mix, and black pepper. Whisk until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.

Pour the prepared gravy mixture evenly over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.

Cover the slow cooker with its lid and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and very tender.

Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker. Stir the shredded chicken into the gravy until well combined.

Serve the slow cooker chicken and gravy warm, ideally over mashed potatoes.
