In a large pot, combine 2 liters of milk, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of cornstarch, and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Make sure to mix the ingredients well before placing them on the heat to avoid lumps.

Place the pot over medium heat. Continue whisking constantly to prevent sticking and clumping, until the mixture thickens and reaches a custard-like consistency.

Remove the pot from the heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and 1 can (170 grams) of cream. Stir well until all ingredients are combined and the mixture is completely smooth.

Start preparing the biscuits. Quickly dip each biscuit into the extra milk, one by one. Do not leave the biscuits in the milk for too long so they don't fall apart.

In a rectangular serving dish, arrange a single layer of milk-dipped biscuits at the bottom.

Pour an even layer of the prepared chocolate cream mixture over the biscuits and spread it evenly.

Continue alternating layers: a layer of milk-dipped biscuits, then a layer of chocolate cream, until all ingredients are used or you reach the desired height. Typically, three layers of biscuits and three layers of cream are sufficient.

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least two hours, or until completely set.

After chilling, remove the dessert from the refrigerator. Use a small sieve to generously dust cocoa powder over the top layer for garnish. Slice the dessert and serve cold.
