Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, aiming for a temperature around 400°F. Ensure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

In a large bowl, toss the husked and silk-removed corn cobs with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Place the seasoned corn cobs directly on the preheated grill grates. Grill for 10 to 15 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes, until the kernels are tender and exhibit light char marks on all sides.

While the corn is grilling, prepare the sweet chili glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the sweet chili sauce, fresh lime juice, honey, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using) until well combined.

During the final 3 to 5 minutes of grilling, generously brush the corn cobs with the prepared sweet chili glaze. Continue to turn the corn frequently to ensure all sides are coated and the glaze caramelizes slightly without burning.
