Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 200 g spaghetti and cook according to package directions until al dente.

Before draining the pasta, scoop out and reserve 1/4 cup of the starchy pasta cooking water. Then, drain the cooked spaghetti.

While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan or skillet over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to let the garlic brown.

Pour 1/2 cup heavy cream into the pan with the garlic. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.

Stir in 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese until it melts completely and the sauce begins to thicken slightly.

Add the cooked and drained spaghetti directly into the pan with the creamy garlic sauce. Toss the pasta thoroughly to ensure it is evenly coated with the sauce.

If the sauce appears too thick or sticky, gradually add the reserved pasta water, 1 tablespoon at a time, while continuing to toss, until the desired creamy consistency is achieved.

Season the pasta with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve the creamy garlic pasta immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
