In a large bowl, combine all the dough ingredients: 250g all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon instant yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, and 150g warm water.

Knead the mixture until a smooth dough forms. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.

While the dough is rising, prepare the pork filling. In a separate bowl, combine 300g ground pork with 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon white pepper, 1 tablespoon minced ginger, 2 tablespoons chopped green onion, and 2 tablespoons water. Mix all the filling ingredients thoroughly. Let the pork marinate for 15 minutes.

Once the dough has risen, gently punch it down to release the air. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.

Take one portion of dough and flatten it into a disc using your hands. Place a spoonful of the marinated pork filling in the center of the flattened dough. Carefully pleat the edges of the dough to enclose the filling and seal the bun tightly. Repeat this process for the remaining dough and filling.

Place each assembled bun on a small square of parchment paper. Arrange the buns in a steamer basket, ensuring there is some space between them. Let them rest for an additional 15 minutes.

Steam the buns over medium-high heat for 10-12 minutes.

Remove from the steamer and serve immediately. Enjoy your juicy pork steamed buns.
