Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Tear the block of tofu into nugget-sized pieces.

Transfer the tofu pieces to a bowl. Add 1 tablespoon of cornflour, salt, and pepper. Coat the tofu pieces well, ensuring they are evenly dusted.

Spread the coated tofu out evenly on a baking sheet. Drizzle with oil.

Bake the tofu in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or air fry for 10 minutes, until crispy and golden.

While the tofu cooks, prepare the glaze. Add all glaze ingredients (maple syrup, orange juice, dark soy sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, rice vinegar, cornflour, and water) to a small jar.

Shake the jar vigorously to combine all the glaze ingredients thoroughly until smooth.

When the tofu has about 10 minutes remaining in its cooking time, spread the tenderstem broccoli onto a separate baking sheet. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with salt.

Place the broccoli in the oven alongside the tofu and bake for 10 minutes, until tender-crisp.

Pour the prepared glaze sauce into a pan and place it over medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Cook the sauce, stirring occasionally, until it is bubbling and starts to thicken to a sticky consistency.

Add the crispy tofu, sliced spring onion, sesame seeds, and sliced red chilli to the pan with the thickened sauce.

Stir everything well to coat all the ingredients evenly with the sticky glaze.

Serve the sticky ginger sesame tofu immediately with your cooked sticky rice and roasted tenderstem broccoli. Enjoy!
