Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a 13x9 inch baking sheet with parchment paper.

Open and unroll the Pillsbury Grands crescent dough.

Lay the slices of American cheese on the parchment paper, arranging them in two rows of four, slightly overlapping.

Place the split hot dogs, split-side down, on top of each slice of cheese.

Carefully place the sheet of crescent dough on top, covering the hot dogs and cheese. Gently press down on the dough to ensure it adheres to the ingredients below.

Brush the top of the crescent dough generously with the melted butter.

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and puffed.

Once baked, remove the baking sheet from the oven. Carefully flip the entire baked hot dog and cheese creation over onto a cutting board.

Cut the large sheet into individual portions, separating each hot dog. Serve immediately with ketchup and mustard, or your condiments of choice.
