Wash the carrots, beets, and red apples thoroughly under cold running water.

Trim the ends off the carrots and cut them into smaller, manageable pieces suitable for your juicer or blender.

Peel the beets using a vegetable peeler. Once peeled, chop them into smaller pieces.

Core the apples, then cut them into quarters. Further chop the quarters into smaller pieces.

Choose your juicing method: If using a juicer, feed the chopped carrots, then the chopped beets, and finally the chopped apples into the juicer. Collect the vibrant red juice.

Alternatively, if using a blender, place the chopped apples, carrots, and beets into a high-speed blender. Add 1/2 cup of water, or enough to aid in blending to create a liquid consistency. Blend until a smooth, uniform liquid is formed.

If using the blender method, pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve placed over a large bowl. Use a spoon or spatula to press down on the pulp in the sieve, extracting as much liquid as possible into the bowl. Discard the pulp or save for other uses.

Pour the freshly extracted juice into a larger pitcher or container. Using a funnel, carefully pour the juice into small, individual glass bottles with screw-on caps for convenient storage.

Serve the prepared beet shots over ice for a refreshing morning boost.
