Unroll the cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into 4-6 smaller pieces. Place the cut cinnamon roll pieces into a large mixing bowl.

Add the ground cinnamon, melted butter, vanilla extract, and maple syrup to the bowl with the cinnamon roll pieces.

Using tongs or a spatula, mix all ingredients thoroughly until the cinnamon roll pieces are well coated.

Spray the inside of your slow cooker insert generously with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Pour the heavy whipping cream into the bottom of the prepared slow cooker.

Evenly spread the mixed cinnamon roll mixture on top of the whipping cream in the slow cooker.

Cover the slow cooker with its lid. For best results, place a clean kitchen towel over the lid to absorb condensation, then secure the lid on top of the towel.

Cook on the 'high' setting for 2 to 3 hours, or on the 'low' setting for 4 to 6 hours, until the casserole is golden brown and cooked through.

Once cooked, carefully remove the lid and towel. Let the casserole cool slightly for about 5-10 minutes.

While the casserole is still warm, drizzle the icing (from the cinnamon roll packages) generously over the top before serving.
