In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garam masala, ground cumin, paprika, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly by hand until all spices are evenly distributed throughout the meat.

Take each large flour tortilla and cut it in half, creating two semi-circles from each tortilla.

Lay one tortilla half flat. Spread a thin, even layer of the seasoned ground beef over the entire surface of the tortilla half, extending to the edges. Place another tortilla half directly on top of the meat layer. Repeat this process, layering meat and tortilla halves, until you have a stack of 4-5 tortilla halves with meat in between each layer. Press down gently to ensure the layers adhere.

Carefully cut the layered stack into long, rectangular strips, approximately 1 to 1 1/2 inches wide. Insert a wooden skewer horizontally through the center of each long strip, piercing through all the layers of tortilla and meat. Once skewered, cut the long strips into smaller, individual skewer portions, about 3-4 inches long.

Preheat your air fryer to 375°F. Arrange the skewered meat and tortilla pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket or a glass baking dish that fits inside your air fryer, ensuring not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.

Air fry for 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the tortillas are golden brown and crispy. Flip the skewers halfway through cooking for even browning.

Remove the skewers from the air fryer and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
