Add the sticky rice into the inner pot of a rice cooker.

Add water to the rice and rinse it thoroughly by hand, swirling the rice in the water. Drain the cloudy water. Repeat the rinsing process until the water appears clear, typically 2-3 times.

Add 2 cups of clean water to the rice cooker pot. If your rice cooker has a 'STICKY RICE' scale, fill to the '2' mark, which corresponds to 2 cups of water for 1 rice cooker cup of rice.

Cook the sticky rice in the rice cooker according to its instructions for sticky rice. This typically takes about 20-30 minutes.

While the rice is cooking, peel the mango using a knife.

Slice the peeled mango into thin, even strips.

Once the sticky rice is cooked, place a banana leaf (if using) into each serving bowl.

Scoop a portion of the warm sticky rice onto the banana leaf in each bowl.

Pour approximately 1/4 cup of coconut milk over the sticky rice in each bowl, or adjust to your preference.

Arrange the sliced mango pieces on top of the coconut milk-covered sticky rice.

Serve warm and enjoy this creamy, fresh, and sweet dessert.
