Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat, brown the sliced smoked sausage and ground meat. Break up the ground meat as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess fat.

Add the Holy Trinity (diced onion, celery, and bell pepper), minced garlic, and sliced green onions to the skillet with the meat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Stir in the marinara sauce. Season the meat sauce to taste with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, Trader Joe’s Aglio Olio seasoning, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. If desired, stir in 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar for a sweeter sauce. Reduce heat to low and let simmer gently while you prepare the spaghetti and Alfredo sauce.

In a separate medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the Alfredo sauce and heavy cream. Stir until well combined and heated through. Add 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 cup of provolone cheese. Stir until the cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth. Season the Alfredo sauce with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, Trader Joe’s Aglio Olio seasoning, and black pepper. Keep warm over low heat.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook for 2 minutes less than the package directions to ensure it is al dente. Before draining, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water. Drain the spaghetti thoroughly.

Transfer the drained spaghetti to the saucepan with the Alfredo sauce. Add the reserved 1 cup of pasta water. Toss the spaghetti with the Alfredo sauce until evenly coated. If the sauce seems too thin, add a little more Parmesan, mozzarella, or provolone cheese until the desired consistency is reached.

Spread the Alfredo spaghetti mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Top this layer with 1/2 cup of the remaining mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of the remaining provolone cheese.

Carefully spoon the meat sauce over the cheese layer. Finish by topping with the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup of provolone cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the spaghetti is heated through. If desired, you can broil for the last 1-2 minutes to get a golden-brown crust on the cheese, watching carefully to prevent burning.

Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve hot. Enjoy!
