Cut the boneless chicken breasts into thick strips. Pat the chicken strips dry with paper towels and set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup all purpose flour, salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder, 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, and 1 tablespoon baking powder for the wet batter. Mix these dry ingredients well.

Gradually add 3/4 cup water to the dry wet batter mixture, whisking continuously until a thick, smooth, and fluffy batter forms. Adjust water as needed to achieve the desired consistency.

In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup all purpose flour, salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder, and 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning for the dry batter. Mix these ingredients well.

Dip each chicken strip into the wet batter, ensuring it is fully coated. Then, transfer the wet-battered chicken strip to the dry batter, pressing gently to coat thoroughly on all sides. Place the coated chicken strips on a tray.

Heat oil for frying in a large pan or deep fryer over high heat. Once the oil is hot (around 350-375°F or 175-190°C), carefully add the coated chicken strips, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry on medium heat for 15-18 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through, golden brown, and crispy. You may need to do this in batches.

While the chicken is frying, prepare the Raising Cane's sauce. In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.

Toast the bread loaves or buns. Spread 2 tablespoons of butter evenly on both sides of each bun before toasting in a pan or toaster until golden brown.

To assemble the sandwiches, place lettuce leaves onto the toasted buns. Top with the freshly fried chicken strips and 1/2 cup of pickled dill chips.

Drizzle a generous amount of the prepared Raising Cane's sauce over the chicken and pickles. Close the sandwich with the top bun.

Serve the Raising Cane's Chicken Sandwich warm, optionally with a side of fries and extra sauce for dipping.
