Pour boiling water over the raw peanuts in a bowl. Stir the peanuts in the hot water for about 1 minute to clean them.

Drain the peanuts well using a colander to remove all the water.

Place the drained peanuts into a pan (a wok-like pan is ideal). Add cold oil to the pan, ensuring there is just enough oil to slightly cover the peanuts.

Add the peeled and halved garlic cloves to the pan with the peanuts and oil. Remember to start frying the peanuts in cold oil to prevent them from burning.

Place the pan on medium-low heat. Continuously stir the peanuts and garlic with a spoon to ensure they do not stick to the bottom of the pan and cook evenly.

Fry the peanuts for approximately 3 to 4 minutes, closely watching the garlic. The peanuts are ready when the garlic turns golden brown and the peanuts themselves start to make small popping sounds.

Once ready, turn off the heat and carefully remove the peanuts and garlic from the pan using a slotted spoon or colander, allowing any excess oil to drain.

Let the fried peanuts cool down completely. After they have cooled, place them on a serving plate.

Sprinkle a little cooking wine over the peanuts, then sprinkle some salt on top to taste. Serve and enjoy the crispy and tasty fried peanuts.
