Thoroughly wash and dry the romaine lettuce. Finely chop the lettuce, green onions, and fresh dill. Aim for a consistent, fine chop for all greens.

Transfer the finely chopped lettuce, green onions, and dill into a large wooden or mixing bowl.

Take the block of feta cheese from its brine and crumble it directly over the greens in the bowl. Crushing it by hand will give a better texture than pre-crumbled feta.

Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice over the salad ingredients. Sprinkle with salt.
