In a medium bowl or jar, combine the chia seeds, milk of choice, cacao powder, adaptogenic powder (if using), maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Whisk or stir well to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and there are no clumps of chia seeds.

Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate the chia pudding for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This allows the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and create a thick, pudding-like consistency.

Once the chia pudding is ready, prepare the cherries. If using fresh cherries, remove the pits and stems. If using frozen cherries, thaw them slightly before proceeding. Finely chop the cherries.

To assemble, spoon the finely chopped cherries into the bottom of your serving bowls or glasses. Divide the prepared chia pudding evenly over the cherries.

Optionally, top with a dollop of yogurt or whipped cream for an extra creamy texture and flavor. Serve immediately and enjoy!
