In a large bowl, combine the 1 cup of yogurt, 1 1/2 cups of flour (add more if needed, up to 2 cups total), 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder.

Mix the ingredients together with a whisk until a shaggy dough forms.

Lightly flour a clean surface. Transfer the dough to the floured surface and knead it lightly. Be careful not to overwork the dough.

Divide the dough into 3 to 4 equal portions. Take each portion and shape it into a ball, then poke a hole in the center to create the bagel shape.

Crack one egg into a small bowl and whisk it thoroughly to create an egg wash. Brush the tops of the shaped bagels generously with the egg wash.

If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds, everything seasoning, or a mix of seeds (such as sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and black seeds) onto the egg-washed bagels.

Place the bagels in an air fryer or preheated oven. Bake at 150°C for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Flip the bagels halfway through the baking time to ensure even cooking.

Once baked, remove the bagels and let them cool slightly. They are now ready to be cut open, filled with your favorite toppings, and enjoyed. Store any leftover bagels for several days.
