Place the 400 grams of boneless chicken thighs into a mixing bowl.

Add the following spices over the chicken: 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon ground coriander, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/8 teaspoon allspice, 1/8 teaspoon celery seed, and a small pinch of ground cloves.

Add 1 tablespoon of honey to the seasoned chicken.

Wearing a glove, massage the spices and honey thoroughly into the chicken until each piece is well coated. Ensure all surfaces of the chicken are covered with the seasoning mixture.

Carefully place the seasoned chicken pieces into the air fryer basket. Drizzle an additional small amount of honey over the chicken in the air fryer basket, if desired, before cooking.

Air fry at 200°C / 390°F for 16 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through, glazed, and slightly charred. The internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F).

Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer. Drizzle with extra honey if you like. Serve immediately with cooked rice and garnish with shredded coconut, if desired.
