In a large bowl, combine the peeled and deveined shrimp with garlic salt, lemon pepper, paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix thoroughly to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated with the seasonings.

Add the cornstarch and all-purpose flour to the seasoned shrimp. Toss until all the shrimp are evenly coated with the flour mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Ensure there's enough oil to shallow fry the shrimp. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the coated shrimp to the pan in a single layer, working in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.

Fry the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fried shrimp from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Set aside.

In the same pan (or a clean one if preferred), melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the large white onion chunks and sliced jalapeños to the melted butter. Sauté, stirring occasionally, until the onions are translucent and the jalapeños have softened slightly, about 4-5 minutes.

Stir in the finely minced garlic cloves and Maggi seasoning sauce (or soy sauce). Continue to cook for another minute, allowing the flavors to meld and the garlic to become fragrant.

Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to taste. If you desire an extra kick, stir in the chili flakes at this point.

Return the fried shrimp to the pan with the jalapeño butter sauce. Toss everything together until the shrimp is thoroughly coated with the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes to heat through.

Serve the Spicy Jalapeño Shrimp immediately. Enjoy!
