Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

In a medium bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and olive oil until evenly coated.

Cut each slice of bacon in half lengthwise. Wrap one half-slice of bacon around the middle of each seasoned shrimp, securing with a toothpick if desired.

Arrange the bacon-wrapped shrimp in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are pink and cooked through. If desired, broil for the last 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness, watching carefully to prevent burning.

While the shrimp bakes, prepare the avocado salsa. In a separate bowl, gently combine the diced avocados, finely diced red onion, chopped fresh cilantro, minced jalapeño, lime juice, and salt. Mix carefully to avoid mashing the avocado.

Once the shrimp is cooked, remove from the oven. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the warm shrimp, if desired. Serve immediately with generous spoonfuls of the fresh avocado salsa.
