Prepare the cucumbers by cutting off both ends. Slice each cucumber lengthwise into two halves. Then, slice diagonally into uniform, thick pieces.

Prepare the pork by slicing it thinly. Place the sliced pork in a bowl.

Marinate the pork by adding 1 teaspoon of cooking wine, 1 teaspoon of soy sauce, and 1 teaspoon of starch to the bowl with the pork. Mix thoroughly until the pork is well coated.

Prepare the aromatics by mincing the 3-4 cloves of garlic and the small piece of ginger. Cut the 3-4 dried chilies into smaller pieces.

Heat a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add a generous amount of cooking oil (approximately 2-3 tablespoons). Once the oil is hot, add the marinated pork slices. Stir-fry until the pork changes color and is cooked through, approximately 2-3 minutes. Remove the cooked pork from the wok and set aside.

Add a little more cooking oil to the same wok if needed. Add the minced garlic, minced ginger, and dried chilies. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the sliced cucumbers to the wok. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until they are slightly tender but still retain some crispness.

Return the cooked pork to the wok with the cucumbers and aromatics. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.

Stir-fry quickly for another 1-2 minutes to ensure all ingredients are well combined and coated with the sauce.

Optionally, drizzle with a small amount of sesame oil before serving. Transfer the "Stir-fried Cucumber with Meat" to a serving plate and serve immediately.
