Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter evenly on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.

Flip four of the bread slices butter-side down. Evenly spread about 2 tablespoons of Trader Joe's Unexpected Cheddar Cheese Spread on the unbuttered side of these four slices.

Place the remaining four slices of bread, butter-side up, on top of the cheese spread to form four sandwiches.

Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the sandwiches in the skillet, butter-side down.
