Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, diced white onion, 1/4 cup chopped green onions, minced ginger (or garlic paste), soy sauce, and sesame oil.

Using your hands, thoroughly mix all the ingredients until well combined and the seasoning is evenly distributed throughout the meat.

Spread an even layer of approximately half of the seasoned meat mixture into the bottom of an 8x8 inch rectangular baking dish.

Arrange 12 round dumpling wrappers over the meat layer in the baking dish. Overlap the wrappers slightly to ensure the meat is completely covered.

Add the remaining seasoned meat mixture on top of the dumpling wrappers, spreading it evenly to form a second layer.

Place the remaining 12 round dumpling wrappers over the second meat layer, again overlapping them to cover the meat completely.

Carefully pour 1 cup of water over the layered dumplings in the baking dish. The water should partially submerge the dumplings.

Bake the dumpling lasagna in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the dumpling wrappers are tender.

Once cooked, remove from the oven. Generously drizzle chili oil or chili sauce over the top of the dumpling lasagna.

Sprinkle sesame seeds and the additional chopped green onions over the chili oil topping. Serve hot, scooping out portions from the layered dish.
