Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place the 1/2 cup of unsalted butter in a 9x13-inch glass baking dish. Transfer the dish to the preheated oven and let the butter melt completely while you prepare the other ingredients.

In a mixing bowl, combine the 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar (for batter), 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 3/4 cup of milk, and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. Mix with a spoon until the batter is smooth and well combined.

In a separate bowl, add the 1 pint of fresh blueberries. Sprinkle with 1/3 cup of granulated sugar (for blueberries) and toss by hand until all the blueberries are coated.

Carefully remove the baking dish with the melted butter from the oven. Pour the prepared batter evenly over the melted butter, ensuring the butter is completely covered by the batter. Sprinkle approximately half of the sugared blueberries evenly over the batter. Distribute the 8 ounces of cream cheese, cut into small cubes, evenly across the surface. Spread the remaining sugared blueberries over the top of the cream cheese and the rest of the ingredients.

Place the assembled baking dish in the oven and bake for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cobbler is set. Once baked, the cobbler is ready to be served.
