Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease four 6-ounce ramekins generously with butter, then dust them with cocoa powder, tapping out any excess. Place the prepared ramekins on a baking sheet.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the 1/2 cup of unsalted butter and semisweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth. This should take about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.

In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the large eggs, egg yolks, and granulated sugar until light in color and slightly thickened, about 1 minute.

Gradually whisk the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until well combined. Sift the all-purpose flour into the chocolate mixture and fold gently with a spatula until just incorporated. Do not overmix.

Divide the batter evenly among the four prepared ramekins.

Bake for 9-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center still jiggles slightly when gently shaken. The cakes should have a slight dome and a crackly top.

Carefully remove the ramekins from the oven. Let them cool for 1 minute before inverting each cake onto a serving plate. Dust with powdered sugar immediately and serve warm.
