Thoroughly wash the cucumbers and carrots under cool running water.
On a clean cutting board, carefully trim the ends off both cucumbers. Slice each cucumber in half lengthwise, then cut each half into long, thin sticks, approximately 3 to 4 inches long and 1/4 inch thick.
Peel the carrots and trim their ends. Cut each carrot into long, thin sticks, similar in size to the cucumber sticks.
Spoon the 1 cup of hummus into a small serving bowl or distribute evenly into four individual small bowls.
Arrange the cucumber and carrot sticks artfully around the bowl(s) of hummus on a serving platter. If desired, sprinkle the 1/4 teaspoon of paprika over the hummus for an extra touch of color and flavor.
Serve immediately as a healthy and delicious snack.
