Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly dust a clean work surface with all-purpose flour.

Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it onto the lightly floured surface. Use a rolling pin to gently flatten the dough further, creating a more uniform sheet.

Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the flattened dough into small squares or rectangles, suitable for lining a muffin tin. You should aim for approximately 12 pieces.

Place the cut dough pieces into the wells of a standard 12-cup muffin pan (a silicone pan works well), pressing them gently to form small cups that line the bottom and sides of each well.

Assemble the bites: Place one cube of brie cheese into the center of each dough-lined muffin cup. Spoon a small amount of cranberry sauce or jam over the brie in each cup. Sprinkle a pinch of chopped walnuts on top of the cranberry sauce in each cup.

Carefully transfer the filled muffin pan into the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 10 to 13 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and puffed up, and the brie cheese is melted and bubbly.

Once baked, remove the muffin pan from the oven. Let the bites cool slightly for 2-3 minutes before carefully removing them from the pan. Garnish each warm bite with a small sprig of fresh rosemary before serving. These are best served warm.
