Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line and grease a 9x5 loaf pan.

Brown the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden and develops a nutty aroma (this typically takes about 3-5 minutes). Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

In a large bowl, whisk together the slightly cooled browned butter with the brown sugar and white sugar until well combined.

Add the eggs, vanilla extract, mashed bananas, and milk to the sugar mixture. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and evenly incorporated.

In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, folding gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

In a small bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt for the crumble. Add the melted butter and mix with a fork or your fingertips until the mixture forms clumps and crumbles.

Pour the banana bread batter evenly into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon crumble mixture evenly over the top of the batter.

Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out mostly clean.

Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for 20 minutes before carefully removing it and slicing.
